As the President of McQ1 Meetings, Colleen is actively involved in every aspect of client management. From conception to implementation, Colleen is directly involved with all phases of project development, account management and meeting implementation.
Colleen has extensive experience working with a wide range of clients in the meetings industry, as well as national and international associations. Throughout her 15-year career, she plays an integral role in the development of, and communication with, all levels of the marketing and medical teams within the pharmaceutical industry. In addition, her relationships with faculty, nationally and internationally known thought leaders and key opinion leaders sets her apart from her colleagues.
She has planned over 100 advisory board meetings, curriculum development meetings, speaker training meetings, train-the-trainer meetings, consultant panels, focus groups, webcasts and satellite symposiums. Colleen is well versed in medical compliance regulations, including OIG requirements, PhARMA guidelines and Open Payments (Sunshine Act). Her experience also extends beyond live meetings and includes the management of monographs, the development of educational DVDs and digital media for the education of physician and patients, in addition to other collateral materials for healthcare professionals.
While the majority of her career is focused in the medical arena, her skills are easily transferable and her current portfolio involves an inaugural trade show for the Biographers International Organization at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, and other varied industries.
She is very active in Meetings Professionals International (MPI), Healthcare Businesswoman's Association (HBA), and the Georgia Society of Association Executives (GSAE). She volunteers with the Junior League of Atlanta, Ronald McDonald House and within her community. Colleen received her Public Relations and Marketing degree from Florida State University.
